Public Show Schedule 2008 For up-to-the-minute information about ISU Planetarium offerings, call the planetarium hotline at (309) 438-5007 day or night. June-July 2008The Illinois State University Planetarium is pleased to offer the family favorite 3-2-1... Blast Off!, running June 18 through July 25. Show times are 2 PM on Wednesdays and 7:30 on Fridays. There will be no presentation on July 4. 3-2-1... Blast Off! finds young teens Devon and Alex exploring the solar system aboard cyber-ship Sol 1. Together with their guide Pixel the youngsters visit each of the marvelous planets that circle our Sun. Along the way Devon and Alex learn something about their home world and themselves. Please note: Pay parking for the 2 PM Wednesday matinees is available in the ISU visitor lot, located on Locus Street. Free parking for the 7:30 PM Friday programs is available a short distance from the ISU Planetarium in University parking lot F-67, located on the east side of School Street. Admission and PoliciesPlanetarium seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets for public sky shows at the Illinois State University Planetarium may be purchased in the Planetarium gift shop beginning beginning 20 minutes before each show. Admission is: Preschoolers (Ages 3-4) . . . $ 1.50 If you are interested in scheduling a private show for your school or social group then please call (309) 438-8757. ParkingPay parking for the ISU Planetarium's afternoon public matinees is available in the ISU visitor lot, located on Locus Street. Free parking for the evening public programs is available a short distance from the Planetarium in University parking lot F-67 (red tag), located on the east side of School Street.
