Model Approach to QED

[visual aide]

By going beyond the external field approximation, we study the full quantum electrodynamical interaction between electrons, positrons and photons through a simple model Yukawa system. Because of the large dimension of the Hilbert space this project is very demanding from a computational point of view. We hope to use this approach to look into new aspects of fundamental QED interactions with space and time resolution.
