This year's Skadron Prize competition is a Sumo wrestling contest between computer programs submitted by the contestants. Two contestants' programs simulate wrestlers, starting from the middle of the ring with a fixed separation, and exert forces provided by the submitted programs. These forces will be used by the monitoring program to compute new locations of the wrestlers. The winner of the contest will be the contestant that can take the opponent out of a circular boundary or leave the opponent out of strength. A double round-robin style tournament will be used to determine the grand champion. Each contestant will play each of the other contestants twice, starting on left or right side of the center. A win scores 1 point, and a loss scores no points. The contestant with the highest score at the end of the tournament wins the championship. In case of a tie, there will be one tiebreaker with a different force allocation.
