ISU Physics Club Trebuchet

The ISU Physics Club operates a sixteen-foot tall trebuchet, now in its third generation. The current trebuchet, named "Reggie's Chuckin' Wagon," has won first place at in the Morton Pumpkin Chuckin' contest for the last two years. Reggie's Chuckin' Wagon has gained several sponsors, including Dennison Auto Center, Morris Tick Co., Inc., and Tremont Lumber Company. The first trebuchet was built in the spring of 2001 as part of a student design project for Professor George Rutherford's Experimental Physics class and took third place in the Morton contest. The pictures below were taken from 2005 through 2007.
