What is the purpose of physics? Will I ever use this sort of knowledge in my life? These are a couple of the tough questions that plague high school physics students. This quest takes you on a journey that gives you an in-depth and practical look at physics. This webquest has a purpose of enlightening you about the unlimited number of opportunities in the field of physics, and of helping you to see the value of physics in day-to-day life.

By the end of this quest you will have identified and described a job related to the physics field that interests you; you will have described different university-related programs and internships that are available in the field of physics. You also will have explored the multicultural and gender history of physics. and will have explored the current opportunities for minorities and females. Finally,
you will have explored interesting real-world applications to physics-related research.
