High-harmonic Generation

HHGThe scattered light spectrum of an ionizing atom can contain very high frequency contributions. We explore the mechanism leading to these higher harmonics using ab-initio calculations for one- and two-electron systems. Click here to see our computer movies of harmonic generation.
