I regard teaching as a very important part of my academic responsibilities. I am particularly interested in developing the role of computational work in the curriculum. I think that the "standard physics curriculum" should be modernized to include computational physics not only on an introductory level but also as an integrated component in standard courses. My main focus in teaching follows a similar strategy as my research work and includes introducing students to the enormous range of applicability of computers as a tool in gaining scientific insight.
