I joined ILP in summer 2004 after graduating from Bloomington High School. I am involved in the development of a light scattering laboratory at ILP. I am excited about confirming scientific theories with experimentation. I like to travel and spend time with friends.

I use a classical model to study and try to understand the matter creation
process. In particular I solve the classical density equation of an electron
or a positron and try to compare the density with those computed using
quantum field theory.

I make large-scale computer simulations on x-grid (with 25 workstations)
to study light scattering in random media. In particular I am interested
in how changing modulation frequency of laser intensity have an effect on
the width of the diffused beam as it propagates through a medium.

I began working for the ILP center as the succesor of Sawyer in the bio-optical laboratory. The LabView codes that control
our translation stage and the photo detector are really complicated, but I am making progress.
My hobbies are dancing and reading.

I began working for the ILP center after my high-school sophomore year.
I have taken three classes at ISU. I help the bio-optical imaging group
with model calculations.
In my spare time I like chinasizing with my girlfriend, Kay.

I joined ILP during my Freshman year in 2006 and work in the quantum field theory group. My present job is to develop better
computer graphics and movies to better visualize the pair-creation dynamics. I work closely with Nic and Dr. Cheng.
I love the Chicago cubs.

I am a sophomore and have been running Monte-Carlo simulations
to model Sawyer's light scattering experiments. I enjoy computer
related research activities and hope to become an engineer one day.
I like to read, travel, bowl and play video games.

Our duties include keeping our parents busy and maintaining a certain
disorder in our house. We also decide on the usage of the Grobe residence
computer.

It is fun to play together and also to play with Dad's computer. He uses scientific terms to describe our activities in the house as "constructive" interference. Hope we know what that means some day.
